In bible you will find he Detaisl of satan as as tempter', 'the prince of demons', the 'source of demonical possession. He is a trickster and an unreliable source of information. John 8:44 speaks of him as a liar, the father of all lies.,unclean spirit (Matthew 12:43),the evil one (Matthew 13:19 & 1 John 2:13) ect
we need to beware of, as it’s one of satan’s trick to misguide the majority of humanity. Satan is the source of evil and he always tries to misguide and mislead people. According to Holy Quran Satan is not an angel but a member of the Jinn, which are spiritual beings created by Allah “Do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy” (Al-Baqarah: 208), and: “Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy” (Faatir: 5).
Jews also believe in The Satan, and not in the devil. Set thou a wicked man over him, and let Satan stand at his right hand. When he shall be judged, let him be condemned, and let his prayer become sin. [Psalm 109:6-7]
