In a Hadith al-Qudsi, Allah says:
Oh! Son of Adam! If Almighty Allah has taken the responsibility of providing your sustenance then why are your efforts directed exclusively towards it?
And if all fortunes and misfortunes are from Me, then why are you impatient.
So, you should not be disappointed when you love something and should be so happy when you gain something from this world.
Note 2: The provision of sustenance to His creation is a matter which is in the hands of God Himself. He provides every thing with its sustenance. With sustenance in the hands of God, the existence of everything would naturally depend upon Him. There is no need for any creature to fear or implore anyone else save God. Any act of worshipping anyone beside Him would not only be foolishness but an unpardonable act of ingratitude and thanklessness.
Surah Al - Hijr, Ayat 15
We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight (15:19)
to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. (15:20)
With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. (15:21)
We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage (15:22).
It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs (15:23).
Surah Ar - Ra’d,
God gives abundant sustenance to whomever He wants and determines everyone's destiny. Some people are very happy with the worldly life. Compared to the life to come it is only a temporary means. (13:26)
Surah Az - Zumar,39
Did they not know that God determines and increases the sustenance of whomever He wants. In this there is evidence (of the truth) for the believing people (39:52).
