How could it have harmed them if they had believed in God and the Last Day and spent their property for the cause of God? God knows them very well (4:39). God does not do even an atom's weight of injustice. A good deed is multiplied by God and richly rewarded. (4:40)
(Muhammad), have you seen those who try to purify themselves? They should know that God only purifies whomever He wants and that the slightest wrong will not be done to such people (4:49).
Here the infidels are warned saying : ‘ do not think that your evil deeds end here and have no echo in your life hereafter. God is All-Just every evil doer shall be duly punished.’

Vr. 99:7-8-And so, he who shall have done an atom’s weight of good, shall behold it; and he who shall have done an atom’s weight of evil, shall behold it.al-nisa'
